The Pulmolines cohort is the overarching cohort structure of the Groningen Research Institute for Asthma and COPD (GRIAC). The mission of GRIAC is the multidisciplinary translational study of obstructive airway and pulmonary diseases and healthy ageing. Pulmolines aims to contribute to research in the development, progression, remission, and treatment of lung diseases and helps to unravel the underlying mechanisms of airway obstruction, emphysema, allergies, and airway hyperresponsiveness.
