- Other inclusion criteria
- Included are adult ED patients with the highest and second highest urgency triage categories of the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage system, and patients with the third highest category when arriving by (Helicopter) emergency medical service. In addition, patients with several specific conditions regardless their triage category are included: sepsis, shock, syncope, anaphylaxis, acute renal failure, intoxications, asthma/COPD exacerbations, deep venous thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, gastrointestinal bleeding and patients who are bleeding (any source) while using vitamin-K antagonist or DOAC.
