Design description
Upon giving informed concent, the LLNEXT participants are asked to fill in questionnaires and donate biomaterials at several time points during pregnacy, at birth and after delivery of themselves and their child.

LLNEXT The data collection of the core study was funded by a grant from the UMCG Hereditary Metabolic Diseases Fund and by grants awarded to Alexandra Zhernakova: VIDI Grant [016.178.056] from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research [NWO], European Research Council [ERC] starting Grant [ERC-715772], and Gravitation program EXPOSOME-NL (NWO grant number 024.004.017). Dependent on the research question and the data used, the recipient shall acknowledge the corresponding funds that made the recipients’ research possible.
