Funding & Acknowledgements
- Funding
The following funding agencies were used to build the LLNEXT cohort and generate samples. LLNEXT The data collection of the core study was funded by a grant from the UMCG Hereditary Metabolic Diseases Fund and by grants awarded to Alexandra Zhernakova: VIDI Grant [016.178.056] from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research [NWO], European Research Council [ERC] starting Grant [ERC-715772], and Gravitation program EXPOSOME-NL (NWO grant number 024.004.017). Dependent on the research question and the data used, the recipient shall acknowledge the corresponding funds that made the recipients’ research possible. Living Lab Newborn Funding for the Newborn project, including inclusion of fathers, was provided by the European Union, the Northern Netherlands Alliance (SNN), the provinces of Friesland and Groningen and the municipality of Groningen. Furthermore, Philips provided continuous measurement devices for this add-on initiative. Nestlé NEXT LLNEXT is powered by Nestlé. The collaboration with Nestlé (Nestlé NEXT) is awarded with the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Allowance made available by Health~Holland (Top Sector Life Sciences & Health).
